DIY Clothes#
Recently, I suddenly had the idea of altering my own clothes. Every time the season changes, girls always feel that their full wardrobe is missing a piece of clothing that they can wear. And there are always annoyances with the new clothes, either too long or too short. Therefore, I had the idea of altering my own clothes. For this reason, I even looked at "Zhang Chun'e's Clothing Design". After reading it, I felt that it was too troublesome, so the idea extinguished.
Badminton and Fitness#
Badminton and fitness, which took a week off, continued this week. The fitness group class I attended on Monday clearly had more people. Perhaps it's because spring is here, and people have shed their heavy clothes. Fat can no longer be hidden. The advantage of having more people is that if you make a mistake in your movements, the coach cannot correct you immediately, and your embarrassing behavior will not be exposed. The downside is that with more people and the weather getting hot, the air feels scorching.
Badminton is currently striving to maintain a rhythm of two sessions per week, and it is secretly getting stronger. Because it is a club activity, sometimes teammates can match my level, which gives me a sense of accomplishment throughout the game. And beginners can also exchange techniques and become stronger together. But occasionally, there are players who are much better than me. When I encounter three other players who are all very skilled and I am the only rookie among them, I can only praise my teammates more and not let the opponents lose confidence. The rookie is also working hard.
Miao Miao's Mischief#
Lately, there have been more "bullying" behaviors towards Huangliang. For example, when I see it lying on the sofa, I have to grab it, rub it, and then let it go. So recently, when it sees me, it avoids me. Since it avoids me, I deliberately grab it more. For this, I found a very righteous excuse for myself: Well... under the bright sky, how can everything go as the cat wishes~
Reading "Looking Up at the Moon Twenty-Nine Times" and "Crying, Laughing"#
I clearly reduced my reading this week, or maybe not reduced, but actually I was reading online novels and getting addicted to various debate competitions, so I opened WeRead less frequently.
"Looking Up at the Moon Twenty-Nine Times"
"Looking Up at the Moon Twenty-Nine Times" is a collection of essays and prose by the author. Life always has its ups and downs, but the author can always find those warm moments in the cracks of time, and when they gather, they form a book. This feeling of counting time is like a little beast that busily accumulates food, storing up a lot of food and waiting to savor and taste it when winter comes. Perhaps we should all jot down those beautiful moments in life, so that when we look back, they can soothe many wounds inflicted by life in an instant.
Here are some sentences from the book that I like:
- It turns out that some people can have a simple life and distant dreams without enduring the cold or traveling far.
- Clear love, direct disgust, sincere liking. Standing under the sun with a clear conscience, praising oneself loudly without shame.
- If I can never see you again, I wish you well every morning you wake up, every busy noon, and every lonely evening.
- Even if the concept of "involution" doesn't exist, we still strive to never let ourselves go.
- But it doesn't matter, we won't be trapped in yesterday forever. When we look up at the moon twenty-nine times, I hope a full moon will rise in your heart.
- When two beautiful souls meet, good luck will surely come.
"Crying, Laughing"
I dare not recommend it, but if life is a game with difficulty levels, then the mode opened in this book should be hell level. However, the key point is that this book is still non-fiction. You can also find news about a donation campaign related to the news of a boy being killed in Handan.
Because of this, I focused on reading the stories of "Lin Yuzhi" and "Wu Xiaoshuang". After reading them, I fell into deeper contemplation. They both grew up stumbling and just when they were about to overcome their difficulties and become independent enough to support themselves, their lives came to an abrupt end. One was 17 years old and the other was only 14 years old. All the beauty in this world had nothing to do with them, but they were not spared from numerous hardships.
If this is the arrangement of fate, then why did they have to go through this~ I don't understand.
Added the next day:
After a night, I roughly figured out some things. At the beginning of life, everyone hopes for a beautiful ending. Their parents must also hope that they will live well in this world. But if it doesn't go as desired, then let it go as it is. No matter where the end is, there will always be someone who hopes for your well-being, even better than well.
Conclusion#
This endless and disorganized account has come to an end. Finally, I will end with a sentence from the book. To strangers, I also wish you well, even better than well.
**If we were true friends,
I would never wish for you to be deep and wise.
I wish you
to be shallow and ignorant,
not understanding compassion.
- Pale "Holding You and the World"**
